Welcome to Edina Girls Softball! We offer softball programs for ages 5-14 for girls who live or go to school in Edina. With Travel (8U, 10U, 12U) and Recreational (6U & 8U) programs, we have a variety of options to meet you at your level. 

Registration deadlines:

• REGISTRATION CLOSED - 10U & 12U
• REGISTRATION CLOSED - 8U Travel 
• 6U & 8U Rec: April 7 (price goes up after April 1) 

10U & 12U teams must purchase their own jerseys between March 10-March 17 at the online uniform store. Jerseys are not included in the  registration fee for 10U and 12U.

Coaches Clinic is March 24th 5:30 at Mission in Hopkins

The makeup tryout date is Tuesday, March 18. Please email info@edinafastpitch.org if you would like to request a makeup tryout

Parent Info meetings will be held from 5:30-6:30 at Arneson Acres Community room on the following dates:

• Travel meeting: Thursday, March 20th 
• Rec meeting: Thursday, April 17th 

We will provide an overview of the program, volunteer requirements, key dates and offer Q&A with the EGFA Board of Directors.

We are now offering open gym on Wednesdays in February and March. Open Gyms are available to players currently registrered for spring/summer season.

The EGFA Board meets approximately 10 times per year and runs the operations of the program., such as registration, communications, player development, uniforms & branding, fundraising, compliance and Mayfly event coordinator. minnesota softball age levels

Effective Fall 2023, Minnesota Softball has revised age eligibility for all divisions. The age of the player on August 31, 2024 is their playing age for the 2025 season in 8u, 10u, 12u and 14u.

Overaged players can NOT play down in an age group. However, some player may decide to play up an age group. The calculate age, please visit USA Softball or use this link to calculate age: Level Calculator

The 14U age level is a transition season for many players. The options are to tryout for a competitive Club Ball team or potentially get matched with a combined community team.

This provides outstanding mentorship and skill-building for our Edina teams. It creates paid summer employment opportunities for skilled, experienced youth athletes.
