Edina Softball is one of the fastest-growing sports in Edina and across the country. 

Participants: 250+ players. All girls live in Edina or attend Edina schools.

Ages: 6U to 14U 

One Edina Softball: Programming includes Edina Fastpitch and Edina Recreation/Slowpitch. Since 2023, we formally merged Edina Fastpitch and Edina Slowpitch to offer travel and rec softball programs through one organization.

Edina Softball Seasons: 
Spring/Summer Primary Season: The major season of play is in the spring/summer. The season begins with tryouts for travel in early March. Play and practice for all travel and rec teams begins mid-April and goes until late June or early July.

Edina Softball Fall Ball is offered as a short season running late August through September.

Edina Softball Winter Dome Ball plays on Saturday nights early December through February. 

Programs: Competitive travel fastpitch softball (8U-14U) and Edina recreational softball (6U-12U).

Enhancements: Year-round clinics with specialty coaches to refine skills.

Edina fields: Pamela Park, Van Valkenburg Park, Yancey Park , Rosland Park and Weber Park.

Annual tournament: Edina's home travel tournament is called the "Mayfly." It's held annually at Pamela Park and Van Valkenburg Park on Mother's Day Weekend.
