Preparing for Game Day

Preparing for Game Day

In order to prepare your team for the game day you need to be organized and have a plan in place.  Additionally, you need to confirm you have nine (9) players to field a team.  If you find that you will not have enough players to field a team because of other player/family commitments then you need to notify the other coach (the coach contact can be found by going to the league link and finding the team you are playing, the coach's contact information should be listed) that you will have to reschedule the game. If it is a home game please click on the "Game Cancelled" link above to notify Field Scheduler and the Edina Park and Rec so the the Field Prep and Umpire are cancelled.  The following documentation will assist you in achieving success and building confidence in your players.

Fastpitch Cheerzzz

Anybody that has ever walked or driven by a local softball field during a girls’ fastpitch game may have noticed all these softball cheers.  Softball cheers are a big part of the game for these girls. It brings them together and they use it to pump themselves up or to get the fans engaged.  EGFA has compiled a list of Fastpitch cheers to get the buzzzing going!
